PE EXPLORER
PE Explorer is a file editor, win32 disassembler, and binary header analysis tool for Delphi developers who wish to examine the inner workings of Windows executable files. It offers a thorough look at PE file structure and all of the resources in the file, and allows you to examine just about every aspect of a PE (Portable Executable) file such as .EXE, .DLL, Device Drivers (.SYS), OCX Controls, and Borland Libraries (.dpl & .bpl). Once inside, file structure can be analyzed, problems diagnosed, changes made and resources repaired.
PE Explorer comes with a Visual Resource Editor, PE Header Viewer, Exported/Imported API Function Viewer, API Function Syntax Lookup, Dependency Scanner and Easy Disassembler. Because PE Explorer has itself been written using Borland® Delphi, there's a very strong emphasis on peeking inside Delphi applications and packages.
The product also allows you to edit the properties of controls on Delphi forms within the PE file, and remove both debugging information and the base relocation table from an executable, as well as view and edit the various section headers (.text, .data, etc). Other features include automatic UPX unpacking, adding of Windows XP control styles to older applications, support for custom plug-ins and more.
